About Us
Required Courses helps people finish the courses their state, court, or employer requires — ticket dismissal, food handler and alcohol seller cards, teen drivers ed, boater safety, OSHA, and professional licensing — fast, online, and approved.
We are not a government agency, a court, or a DMV, and we are not affiliated with any of them. Every requirement we explain links to the official government source, and applying the rules to your situation is between you and that authority.
The approval promise
A certificate from a non-approved provider gets rejected — by the court, the DMV, or the health department — and you find out at the worst possible moment. So this site runs on one rule: a provider is listed for your state only if it appears on your state's official approved list, we link that list on the page so you can check our work, and we re-verify quarterly. If a state's approval status changes, the page changes.
Our other rules
- No "guaranteed pass," ever. Courses have real requirements; we tell you what they are.
- No legal advice. Ticket-dismissal content explains eligibility mechanics — whether to contest a ticket instead is a question for a lawyer.
- Free options get told first. Where a state offers a free official course (some boating and hunter-ed programs, some county food-handler options), we say so before showing anything paid.
- Nothing that smells like a certificate without the coursework. There are no shortcuts here, and anyone selling one is selling you a rejected document.
How we make money
Some course links pay us a commission — clearly marked, never required, never affecting your price, and never affecting which providers appear (approval status decides that). Requirement explainers and the official-list links earn us nothing.
